Up ahead is another camp of Soldier Constructs guarding a chest, but you’ll want to be careful engaging them. Head down the path to the right and watch for Constructs battling with Chuchu monsters, and pick off whoever wins that fight. With the Fuse ability, you can now fuse a rock to your weapon and break them apart, revealing a low path under the falls and back across to the other side of the lake, as well as another chest with Amber inside. ![]() To reach the third shrine in the cold region to the east from the Lake Shrine, head back down the hill, and be sure to look for a ditch full of rubble. Once you reach the other side, follow the river up to the left and climb up to reach the shrine. Luckily, the nearby Constructs will demonstrate how Zonai Devices work with rafts, and give you an Energy Cell to power the fans attached to rafts. When you’re ready, head up the slope into the snow and veer right to reach an icy river that will quickly kill you if you fall in. Luckily, you can find a Cooking Pot in one of the ruins, which you should use to cook up the Spicy Pepper found growing in front of the slopes, and stockpile food that will let you survive freezing temperatures without taking damage (five cooked peppers will give you 12:30 of cold resistance). You’ll have to enter the cold temperature region by way of the ruins east of the Temple of Time. If you’re attempting to reach the snowy shrine first by way of the Temple of Time, your route will be very different than if you continued on from the lakeside shrine. ![]()
